CM Punk dream was always to wrestle in the WWE since he was a child. When he broke into wrestling people told him he wouldn't make it in WWE because of his size. Punk made his name in ROH before signing a development deal with WWE in 2005. In his last match in ROH he wrestled his real life best friend Colt Cabana(Who recently signed with WWE) in that match even though playing heel the fans were chanting "Please don't go" and "Thank you Punk". On his try out match on heat against jobber Rob Begley he got chants of "Boring". From that short match WWE agents and Triple H told Punk "He couldn't work" and was sent to OVW. During that time Punk had one suporter in the office head
OVW booker and ROH fan Paul Heyman.When ECW was relaunched as a brand Paul convinced Vince that Punk would be perfect for ECW. In his debut at Hammerstein Ballroom on the same card as Batista v Big Show which ECW original fans took the piss out with chants of "You both suck" and "change the channel".

punk got over with the fans instantly many whom had seen his work in ROH.Punk even got cheered over ECW original Justin Credible in the match which he won. The highlight of Punk overness with the crowd can be seen at ss 06 when he teamed with DX and the Hardy's and crowd was actually chanting "DX Sucks" those chants then turned into "CM Punk". Punk is now champion of ECW. Punk has proved all of his critics wrong to be a world champion it must feel sweet for CM Punk.

After reading what u've typed,i must admit it's an emotionl speech,i nearly cried! haha but jokes aside,i watched & followed Punk's career,he's one of my faves ever since his ROH days,& he's one hell of a phenomenal wrestler!!! i felt so happy for him,cause finally,he's a World Champion in the WWE!it was his dream,& he had just relished his boyhood dream!
Punk is a very special wrestler.The interaction he has with fans is so close-knitted,& he is Straight-Edge.In the days of steroids & drugs scandals,it is rare to see guys like him not engaging in it,& u oughta give him credit,& a round of applause.He has showed that u don't need backstage politics,drugs & steroids to get to the top but with heart,determination,dedication & hardwork,it would pay off,& u can achieve your boyhood dreams! that's what i call,a true roll model!
I'm feel so proud for Punk,i'm actually wearing the Straight Edge t-shirt,walking around the street showing it off! lmao!

no, not at all. sure he didn't say a word, actions speak louder than words. while Jericho was touring with his band or playing with himself, Punk was winning the WWE championship. Raising the title in front of Jericho truly said, "I am the best in the world and you are not". You should feel goofy for thinking you actually have a point.

great that he is champion but also disapointed that he won it basically because of nitro/ morrisons drug taking, punk deseves the tittle though, what is happening in wwe at the moment is kennedy, edge, orton all suspended?????

Ummm, i wouldnt be, as he wouldnt have it unless Morrision took those drugs, so it kinda forced wwe to give him the title, i wouldnt feel like i truly eanred it tbh
