If I don't want to give alot of my personal information over on registering to ebay, can I use the local post office as my address (so that means I can pick-up my package from there; with no need to give over my own adderess)?

You can rent a PO Box. The only problem with that is that UPS and Fedex cannot deliver to PO Boxes. But most sellers ship through USPS, anyway.

I am an eBay seller and buyer and I've never had a problem with psycho eBayers in all my 8 years on eBay. There's nothing to be afraid of. Just make sure you purchase from reputable sellers who have 98.6% or greater feedback, and always read through the feedback (both left and received) before you make a bid. And if buying a high-priced item, always pay with a credit card through Paypal.

Good luck.

No - most sellers won't even consider sending to a PO box!

And you can't register with Ebay without giving full details - otherwise you stand the chance of being reported for incorrect contact details which is an instant throw off anyhow.

ok. nicely, the publish place of work will forward your mail for a million year when you progression, only to get that out of ways. Did you pay the supplier by employing verify or money order? I ask in view which you stated "the return tackle on eBay or my envelope", which suggests you sent them cost by employing mail. if so, they might have sent the equipment on your new return tackle. i could first wait to hearken to back from the supplier. in the event that they did deliver the equipment on your previous tackle, ask them if that they had transport confirmation on the equipment (that way they are in a position to inform if the equipment grow to be marked as introduced). if so, touch your previous nearby publish place of work to make certain in the event that they are in a position to help you. If all that fails, deliver a letter on your previous tackle explaining the area. it would desire to help. stable good fortune, i'm hoping each thing seems ok.

The USPS will not allow you to use a post office as your address. You must rent a PO Box.
As the above answerer states UPS and FedEX cannot deliver to a PO BOX.
If you are that afraid of giving out info, I suggest that you buy good at your local stores.
