If it has working bits on it then you could just break it for parts and then sell just the shell to the scrappies, you'll make more money that way.Just make sure you have some way of getting it to the scrappies after you have taken all the bits off it.

Hi not sure what running gear the Opel Nova has but a lot of the transmissions today have alloy casings, intake manifolds. Not a lot else that I know of I'm afraid. Steel doesn't really pay a lot here. Some copper in the wiring. The heater radiator is brass also. Have a look in any local second hand parts wanted in newspapers and trading mags can be handy.

Wheels of steel or aluminum cyl head is aluminum but has steel parts that have to be removed to get cast metal price. All and all there isn't enough value in the copper wiring to justify the pollution of burning off the insulation. And most modern radatiors are aluminum these days and weigh only five pounds. Good luck with your greasy mess.

Its not worth selling it in bits for the scrap metal value. You need tons of the metals before any dealer will talk to you. Dismantle the car and sell the bits as spares for other car owners.

Scrap the thing and be done with it.
