CM Punk has finally become champion. I have been following Punk since his classic matches against Samoa Joe in ROH,Now he is champ. Nitro was an ok champ but his promo's seemed forced and he couldn't draw heat from the crowd. Punk hasn't been given a chance to show off his promo skills but he is quite good on the mic. Now with Punk champion we have possible feuds against Burke and Cor Von. ECW just improved for the better now that Punk is champ.

It's a bitter/sweet taste in my mouth, actually. I was quite fond of John Morrison as champion. While I do agree his promos seemed forced, I disagree when you say he drew no crowd heat. He drew a lot of crowd heat, the only reason it wasn't GOOD heat was because they genuinely hated him for his long, drawn out, written-on-the-back-of-his-hand promos that, as put by Jeff Hardy so brilliantly, are more boring than watching paint dry. Morrison lacked a lot on the mic, but the kid had ring charisma, which is all you need when you're a heel I think. Sure, a shady promo here or there is great, but when that can't carry you, why not show off your cockiness with a swagger or facial expressions? Or by oozing with confidence in every move you deliver? Morrison did that.
I was a favorite of CM Punk in ihs RoH Second City Saint days as well. I've yet to see the ever so popularized Joe v. Punker match though. My friend has it on DVD, but he never brings it home from college, the bastard. Punk makes a great champ, though. The kid's got everything going for him, regardless to what critics of his work in ECW say. The kid's over like Hogan. I will always remember watching Survivors Series last year and seeing him in the ring with DX and the Hardys, and out-popping both!
Anyway, considering the circumstances in which led up to Morrison getting the title, he was a great fill-in champion. It seemed the E was getting pretty into Johnny Boy too, because there was no reason otherwise that he should've retained last PPV unless Vince was liking what he was seeing...should've known then that Morrison was on steroids HAHAHA

you don't know how goddamn happy i am after i read the news! & i'm still am happy till now!!! haha same as u,i've been following Punk's career,& trust me,he deserves the title! finally WWE use their damn brains,& give him the title!
Now that ECW have been improved for the better,i expect guys like Burke & Cor Von to go for it.This guys are fantastic,& if there's a no.1 contender's match,these 2 deserve to get a shot at it.I don't see Big Daddy V feuding with Punk,cause very soon he would be replacing Mark Henry at SmackDown! so there u go!

Definitely happy.
I see much potential in feuds like Punk/Burke or Punk/Cor Von to create desperately needed new stars - much more so than with Morrison-Nitro as the title holder, who did have a bit of a "main show reject" feel.

Happy, as in ecstatic? No... happy as in satisfied? Yes. Ali al-Majid is a thug and a killer, and more than deserves his fate--just as Saddam and the three other Saddam lackies that have preceded him in being hanged. The Iraqis are getting the justice they both deserve and have craved for decades.

i am but the only reason why they done this was because of john morrison was on the list of using drugs so it looks like he will be suspened
