Because it is part of a animal life cycle and not part of a human life cycle.

Well if we are talking about for food there is nothing wrong with humans killing animals. What is wrong is the way in which those animals are treated during their life/death.
In all honesty it is all a matter of personal opinion, there really is no right or wrong reply to this question.
You have to go by what you yourself feel is right/wrong and not based off of what other people tell you.

Imho, it is only ok to kill another animal if you need it for food. If I'm in the middle of Antartica, and the only food was cute beby seals, then I would eat one. The rule basically goes, that you should only kill what you need. eg: if I only need 2 seals to survive a whole week, I shouldn't go and kill twenty, just for the heck of it.

Kill or be killed

It is OK for us to kill animals. Though I don't hunt or slaughter I do love eating meat. Biologically it is why we have incisors.
Humans aren't the only animals to killl for sport. Any cat owner will tell you that!
I'm betting %90 of boys play with, and kill, ants.

I don't believe that at all.
We have a responsibility to treat nature w/ respect, and not hunt for trophies, pelts, etc - but I have absolutely no problem w/ eating cows, chickens, etc - and in many parts of the world they eat dogs, cats, etc.
It is very rare that an animal kills for fun. Humans do though, and that needs to be stopped. Killing for meat (even slaughterhouses) is fine with me.

first of all i don't think an animal should be put to death IF WE are in THEIR territory, for instants like a Shark attack, now you know many people know that they are taking their chances, they know sharks are out there so they go anyway and then when they loose a leg, they want a search team to go kill the thing! i mean how many shark attack cases does it take to wake people up to stay out of the water, or at least not too deep?
animals like dogs that are just running to somebody and eating them alive or attacking them, they need to be put to death, i can understand that, especially owners who just let dogs roam freely, that's something we have a problem with one of my neighbors, they let the pit bull free all the time, always on our doorstep.
some animals need food, that's why they kill, like an alligator snapping at a dear that's just drinking out of the water, its just mainly for eating and nothing evil, unlike we humans.

u've asked a great question.animals live like different species.they a thing called a food chain .this means that an animal eat an animal ,then it gets eaten by another one.when we kill the animals we disturb the food chain.hence animals get less preys to feed upon until they find themselves as prey.so this causes environmental disorder.

Hi, Many years ago man (us) only killed animals for food but man is cruel and there are many sports where humans kill for fun. Animals only kill to survive. Some animals will catch a small prey but without killing it and then leave it to their young to LEARN how to catch and kill it for themselves. Its all part of the chain of learning and survival. When it comes to humans okay we kill animals for food aswel but we also kill for the pure pleasure of it. When people say that someone is an animal i disagree here. For the pure reason as ive mentioned above. We COULD survive without meat...but many animals couldn't. Who would feed them if they didnt catch and kill their own food...NO ONE would.
So its simple:
Humans kill for food and pleasure only
Animals kill for food and their right to survive.

well that's a matter of opinion, so it depends who you ask. I don't think an animal should be put to death for killing a human, unless it's like cuz it has rabies or something. But if it was scared or defending itself, then no. It was probably the human's fault for being an idiot and ******* with it. And hey, that's just one less idiot we have to deal with. Natural selection.
