Pluto is not a planet in fact it is an icy dwarf in the Kipper belt and science has shown that so was Uranus and Neptune originally so the kipper belt is like a planet producer and do you remember that when we were in school we had to pick out Pluto from a line up we in fact we should only know how it looks in about 2015 before that we only had about a 4 pixel shot of it so we don't really know how it looks it might be a gas planet of a comet lets just wait until our probes get there to be sure but i believe its not a planet

No, Pluto is not a planet because, it has been recently deleted from the list of planets.

No.It was recently demoted to "dwarf planet" -- The 2006 definition of "planet" by the International Astronomical Union (IAU) states that, in the solar system, a planet is a celestial body that:
* is in orbit around the Sun,
* has sufficient mass so that it assumes a hydrostatic equilibrium (nearly round) shape, and
* has "cleared the neighborhood" around its orbit.
Pluto fails the third criteria.

Scientists just degraded it to non-planet status, so for the time being, no, it is not considered a planet by the scientific community.
2 years from now though, who knows?
Um...btw - how do you give somebody a thumbs down? I just got 2 for giving a straight answer and it would be nice to get an email or something for a reason. Maybe just trolls that have nothing better to do?

no, it has been already classified as a planetoid not beacuse of its size but due to it's orbit which is highly elliptical that it sometimes enters neptune's..
