Because you are explaining them in the wrong way. You are not some one who likes people to disagree with your point of view, is that correct? I used to be like that but then some body advised me to put myself in the other person's shoes and imagine what would it take me to be convinced, it can be hard and annoying but its worth it. Try it.

Well, if you just repeat the same thing over and over, it's not going to change and suddenly be any easier to understand. If it's a simple detail or fact, it's probably their fault, or it's hard to get down. If it's a concept, then you should try relating it to another concept that they already know. It really helps to know that it all relates. Note that I'm being really vague here. When I said that it helps to know that it all relates, that kind of generally applies to anything, but I was thinking math and science (because in there, there are certain things that help you find out/remember many other things-like patterns and rules, etc.) But you might not have been talking about math. It would really help to know what you're talking about. When trying to explain, cover everything, but don't be redundant, it's confusing. When I say cover everything, I mean EVERYTHING. I'm thinking math and science again, but this also generally covers anything: Don't waste your time with all the details, explain the principles. You can have someone memorize 7x8=56, but if they're just memorizing, they won't know what it means. My third-grade teacher mentioned that her teacher just made them memorize, and never even taught them that 7x8=56 is just 7+7+7+7+7+7+7+7=56.. And even if you do teach that person that 7+7+7+7+7+7+7+7 is 56, you still haven't given them a way to figure out how to multiply higher numbers. For example, if they got 16x8, they might have to count it out. I personally go with the 10x8 + 6x8 thing, but that's irrelevant.

actually at times we people have different style of thinking no t even identical twins agree on all issues.problem arises when we tyr to make some thing understand to other person with out understanding his way of thinking process.we can make other person understand our thought only if you can understand his.for example if you have to tell morale of astory to a child you have to do this in his style.

because ...
A man convinced against his will...
is of the same opinion still.
They have made a choice. They will not accept what you say. They have made a commitment to some idea already in their mind and NOTHING will change that.

Depending on the subject, some people just can't understand.
Others just can't understand anything.
While many others have their own opinions and you never call tell them otherwise. Or they may just not want to know the truth.
