Know yourself and learn to enjoy your own company. You
are your own best friend. Consider how that can work for
you. You can be your own worse enemy. Understand how
that works and STOP it. Be thankful for good health and
enjoy it. If the health is bad, be glad its not worse. Find a
hobby. Do the birds sing where you live? Dose the wend
gently move the grass the trees and cool the shade where
you live. Do the clouds float gently buy and sometimes water
the landscape? How can life be monotones with all that?
Cheer up and good luck.

Help other people! By helping others you get to know yourself more. It also gives you the opportunity to fine tune those things you don't like about yourself because you won't be alone when you do that fine tuning because you will have friends/associates, you know, those people you help. Helping others unselfishly and unconditionally will show you a world of joy you could not imagine otherwise. Don't just say you help a person do something, really help persons with real people (not stupid stuff) problems. Like helping someone to read, be a listening ear to a needy person, lending a helping hand without being asked, volunteer. You'll be surprised that you will have friends and the monotony of life will just disappear.

One may try to free oneself from the monotony of everyday life by trying to become more astute, by leaving a monotonous environment, by surprising one's own environment, by trying to do new and more interesting things, more work-demanding things, by doing an old job in a more careful way, by trying new experiences that give emotions, by undertaking something more risky than usual, by going to a place that one has never seen before.

One may try to free oneself from the monotony of everyday life by taking a deep breath, several deep breaths, and so start running, working hard, singing, whistling, whatever! Then one may conclude one's day by feasting on some good fancy food sharing the company of some feastly and life-loving friends.

And the day after one might decide to do something else, or decide a new strategy, contrive a new strategy.

Keep moving. If chatting with friends bore you today, than may be you should go for a walk, ride, cook something, watch tv, answer questions in Yahoo Answers. Remember, everything you do will become boring at certain point or time. Whatever bore you at certain time, leave them till next time, and move on. Move on.
