In a sense but many times I need to back up a bit to get a running start before I can go forward.

No.
Sometimes I have to look things up to make sure that I am not acting foolishly.
Sometimes that is a mistake.
Sometimes what you see is all you need to see and what you fear is yourself.
Sometimes it is better to fail and suceed than suceed and fail, but; in the end it still feels the same.
I start where it makes sense to start and right or wrong that is a beginning. Let others judge it as they please, The intention was just to start.

It isn't possible to start from were I ain't...think about this. It's natural to begin from the "real' start point, and that would be "from were I am now". Otherwise it would be cheating, and this would not be fair-play, using a false advantage.
