Me and my friend have been debating over this for some time.
I believe that guys prefer girls to be delicate and lady-like... by that I mean, not the kind of girls to respond to an attack in a fight, but just to ignore it.
My friend on the other hand believes that if you defend yourself in a physical attack (and win!)... the guy you like will give you more respect, honour, and will see you as an independent person.
By physical attack, I don't just mean punching etc. I mean to adapt it to many situations, such as verbal attacks etc...
We're both females and we would like to know how guys feel about this.

A little of BOTH. I mean Nice lady like, but if PUT in a bad situation, be able to handle it and when done be a nice little kitten again.

Very good question...
Many men will prefer a girl on her physical features. Like if she is hot or sexy, and often the way they react in certain situations is irrelevant.
I personally prefer girls who don't fight back on a physical basis. If for example a girl is being bullied, then it is understandable to be assertive and stand up for herself. However it is also important for a girl to be able to control her temper.
I know society has progressed and is still progressing but I still feel strongly that it is 'unladylike' for the female gender to be so aggresive.
I'm presuming that by you meaning verbal attack, you mean insulting the person...I think on any basis this is wrong regardless of the gender.
To be honest, I believe that the majority of men prefer the innocent and the girls that are independant and do not fight back. As a boy, I believe that men are much more aroused seeing an independant and delicate girl being 'naughty'...if you know what I mean.

I prefer short length on girls :) BQ: My hair is up to my shoulder blades...I don't know if that's long or short. I would say medium :) Pointless remark: I'm a brunette as well! ^^
