lets break that one down, artificial life...artificial--- life. one or the other, can't have both.

I believe it. The field of AI has come a long way, and it's beginning to look up. I believe we'll have a very basic form of artificial life within that time, but I think it's still a far off before we have stuff like in I, Robot walking around. :)

Artificial life for humans? I don't think so... but I do know by the year 2012 most seafood will be cloned... and by the year 2033 most meat well be cloned =]

We have artificial life already. It is software-based, not carbon-based life.
