Question 1
x + y = 78
-x + y = 20------ADD

2y = 98
y = 49

x + 49 = 78
x = 29

x = 29 , y = 49

Question 2
x y ² = (29) (49) ² = 69,629

Y is 20 more than X so 78-20 = 58
58/2 = 29
X=29
Y=29+20 = 49

so 29*49*49 = 69629

X + (20 + X) = 78
2X = 58
X = 29
Y = 59

X*Y^2
= 29 * 59 * 59
= 100949
