credit card companies have an odd way of payment. what happens is the credit card is charged, and receives approval and that amount is put on "hold" on your card......then depending on the company, it is then settled for final payment (usually done at the end of the day)

Once this is done, the amount that is charged is deposited directly into the company's bank account. This generally takes 2 to 3 days. Once that happens, the accounts receivable department matches the charges and the payment to the correct account, and then your account is credited with your payment.

Essentially, the company knows that your payment will process and they sent out your order. There is no need for concern and if you check back in about 10 days, you will find that your account will have a zero balance.

It could just be that your order status was not updated at the time you had checked your order. Awaiting payment means that the merchant is waiting for response as in a approval code from the credit card company. Some credit company when a merchant swap the credit card they do not give approval code right a way so the transaction goes into a pending status for 24 or even some time 72 hours before the credit card company can release the approval code and it could take even longer if this is a Internet purchase going to a different address other than the billing address on file at the credit card company.

Sounds quite odd. You can check with your credit card company about whether the charge was processed. And you can contact the company you ordered from and ask them for clarification.

you could ask the question better but they might ship it. I would say it takes two days to clear and you can check your bank accounts later. you will get confirmation via email went it is paid for but looks like there should be no problems with the money side of things.

Your order has not been processed yet or there is a problem with the card - why not send them an e-mail or give them a ring to put your mind at rest
