Taylor = means a Tailor. I don't like this as much as your other names, and it is more popular for girls than it is for boys now. And also, I can't imagine a 70 year old named Taylor.
Oliver = well this means elf army, which personally i don't like, but i love the name, and the nickname Ollie is adorable, it's not informal, or too formal, and it suits both children and adults, the popularity of oliver has risen in the usa, but its not in the top 100 yet, but in the uk it's 4th
Joshua = a popular name, but the meaning " God rescues" is lovely. the name suits all ages and personalities, in my opinion. The nickname Josh is also lovely.
Elliot = This name to me, sounds quite girly, however it is one of my favorite names, and i prefer this spelling to Elliott. - two Ts -
Out of the four names my first choice would be Oliver, then Elliot, Joshua and Taylor
Also, what about these names, Dominic, Adam, Aaron, Scott and Luke, imo they are all lovely names and on my top list, along with Oliver and Elliot =]

I love Oliver and Elliot (Oliver is my #1 favorite boy name.)
Taylor and Joshua are nice, but they don't seem as fresh as the other two.I know plenty of Joshuas. I only know one Taylor, and I do like it on a boy. But, Taylor has been used a lot of girls lately.

I like Elliot. It seems to be the more unique name out of your list.
I know a thousand Joshuas, Oliver is now the rage, and Taylor is pretty common and just not my style.
So, I am going with Elliot.
Good luck!

I Love the name Elliot, to me it is a name with a sensitive and caring soul behind it. Oliver can be a little cocky. Joshua is nice too but Taylor is really yuck
