Lots of internet sites say that David Bowie's eyes are different because he sustained an injury to his left pupil, such as his Wikipedia article, which says "Bowie has stated that although he can see with his injured eye, his colour vision was mostly lost and a brownish tone is constantly present."
Has Bowie ever actually addressed this in an interview? How and when? Where else contains information, apart from the hundreds of internet sites that seem to recycle the information from Wikipedia?

The show "Biography" did a show on him. It was explained how he got in a fight and nearly lost his eye. They showed a clip of him saying how having strange eyes improved his sex-life.

I don't know Bowie's story, but my ex-husband had a splinter of wood stab into his eye when he was chopping wood as a boy, and it left him with the same condition as Bowie.
