What do you think 'makes' love? Are there things that have to exist in a relationship, like trust and a willingness to sacrifice, in order for there to be love, or is it just something that is there?

You can love objects like favorite earrings or animals like a pet, but being in love with someone involves admiration, acceptance, trust and self-sacrifice, and it lasts. An emotional attachment that ends when you get fed up with the other person is not the same thing.

For me, loving is loving the unlovable. In a relationship, you must love him despite of his unlikable attitudes.. In order for the relationship last.. yes. you need such traits like trust, willingness, sacrifice and faith. but make sure you give that to the really person that you love.... so that it will last forever!!!!
Love is compose of YOU!!! yourself!! giving yourself to others and involving that person to be a part of your life...
That's the simple reality of what makes love... giving, offering and valuing...

well, in my opinion, i think love is when two individuals meet, come together, and just get to know each so well that they just develop a feeling for each other. It just feels so right when u meet someone who is somewhat similiar to u and fits ur needs. most of the time, u don't notice it at 1st, until somehow u just connect and form a close bond, then it hurts when that one person u really really luv leaves unexpectedly and u don't what happened and when they're coming back to u.

Depends in what sense? Example: if someone has a son, 4 years old who is blind and who is deaf. Now, this year his parents gotta do a surgery which will make him blind as well. Now if the parents kill their son 'coz he's gonna suffer a lot without hearing, seeing and listening. Would you call it out of Love?

oh yeah good question i reckon love is when there is a person in your life a person that makes you feel special a person that is nice to you,a person that knows you really well,a person that cares for you,i guess love has lots of meanings. i think love starts of as yeah something special(sorry if this sounds really dorky)
