i try to recharge it with my a adapter and it doesn't want to recharge please help me !

If you're sure that the charging unit is good, then perhaps the battery is really bad and needs to be replaced. If it's dead and won't recharge, there's nothing else to do.

Your battery may be toasted. Laptops normally automatically recharge their batteries when plugged into the AC adapter. My laptop has a program that came with it that also "conditions" the battery and give it a longer running time. I found this program in XP under "Utilities" it is call "Battery Optimizer". Perhaps if you run this program it will bring your battery back to life.
