Many people go to thier deaths, never
knowing what thier life purpose was, I
feel that since so much time has passed
maybe my purpose was to sire children who
in some small way may serve mankind, and
help shape the future.

I'm not sure if I have determined that yet - but I think everyone's purpose in life has something to do with what they are naturally born to do, and makes them happy. At different points in time in my life I have been certain that I knew what my purpose was, however it seems to be an everchanging certainty. I do believe in a purpose driven life, being goal-oriented and continuously setting and achieving new goals. I don't know if your purpose can be DETERMINED, or if it can only be REALIZED. To answer the question, 'how did I determine what my purpose in life was': When I found something I excelled at more than others and made me happy, I set out to do that which I was good at and produced the best outcome for all parties involved, and believed it to be my purpose in life.

There are those who deny it, but we all need to feel that we have some purpose for living. Without purpose, our lives have no meaning and no worth. Our need for purpose is deeply ingrained into our human nature. Questions about purpose and meaning dominate forums like YA all over the world.
How did that great need for purpose get into our human nature? Two possibilities:
1) We were created and our Creator put that need there to point us to seek Him. So, in this case, God is behind the feeling.
2) The mindless natural process of evolution created that feeling and the feeling had value in keeping our species around. In this case, there is nothing behind the feeling. The feeling (a chemical in the brain) is the only reality. ( In fact, under mindless evolution, all our reality is just shots of drugs to the brain.)
I personally have hope that God exists and my purpose is therefore to seek Him.

i am here and i think everyone is here for happiness,
even if some work is bitter and hard, what is the outcome? what did you do it for? it is to make money and you want money to be a bit happier or to make other people happy, to have a better life...for people's good...do something you like, you're happy...make other people happy...
another interpretation is that you are here to make an impact on people's lives in a good way like help them and stuff or just to exist
i know this because i observe the actions of everybody...
i think that is that is the reason we were here
hope this is the real meaning

That's easy. It's what you love the most. I love children the most so I decided to become a teacher. I worked in a daycare with the babies, and decided to move on to helping special ed. kids in and out of school. Maybe some of my good qualities will rub off on them. That's how you figure out what you would be best at. What great qualities do you have and what do you like best in your world? That's what you have to ask yourself. Good luck!

Fulfillment... Be all that I can be, do all that I strive for...
Then I'll be complete. Learn to love every day....that's all that matters.
I had many night pondering this question...each individual has to find their own solution. Not an answer- a solution.

Certain people have callings, others are just here to exist.
If you feel you have a true calling, you probably do.
Everyone knows someone who just exists in life.
