The past.. Its a weakness actually which i need to get rid of. I am full of regrets and im not ashamed to admit that. Only when we know that we have erred will we be able to correct it. Im trying to change for the better. Thesedays, i think more ahead. I concentrate on the present so the future will be a prosperous one. Trying to lay a good faoundation at the present so the future will be strong. Good u asked this.
Cheers!

You are still young, and dreaming of the future is most appropriate. On the other hand, at my age, my mind wanders to the past and to the present. As to my future, I am reminded of what my Mom use to say to me when I was a young boy: "Live for today, do something to bring a smile to someone, do not lie, be kind, love whomever is in your heart , because God promises us our daily bread but says nothing about our tomorrows" I have lived 84 years with those words in my life, and have no regrets.

To be honest it wonders to the past, present and future all of the time. I think about the past and how it affected me in the present and how i can change it to make a better future.

I try to stay mostly in the present, thinking a few days ahead, but I also like to imagine big events that are far off but planned, like my college graduation (in 259 days). Sometimes I drift into the past, but that's only to relive a good memory with an old friend. For the most part, 90% of the time, I'm in the now.

Shifts between present and future. I'm big on foresight...though I don't spend too long dreaming of the future like you said.

I used get hung up about the past...it's just not worth it, though.

It goes to the past when I regret or miss something. To the future when I'm really hoping for something or trying to think about what will happen if I tak a certain action.

A prayer that I had answered had to have been started 30 years before I asked for it in order for it to come true. The prayer was to get my heroine addicted sister (we didn't know if she was dead - missing for two years) arrested and deported into my care. She lived in the other country from the time she was one month old. She was 29 when I said the prayer. She was arrested within a week. She found a bottle of pills that, when arrested, made her look like she was dealing them. She loathed drug dealers and would never have done that to support her habit. Hooking, yes. Stealing, of course. Other things, sure. But never dealing. Because of the seriousness of the charge, they deported her to my care. She stayed with me four years and is now the super of a building with 150 units. She went from being homeless to having 150 to look after. She never would have been deported if my parents had taken care of the paperwork. She couldn't have been deported if we moved overseas a month before, instead of a month after she was born. Etc.. etc. But it doesn't matter. You have made yourself unteachable. Identified yourself as a cynic at the cost of your soul. I wrote this for others, not for you.

It doesn't tell me. It has a mind of it's own, but I'm saying the present.
