first of all, there's no country in the world called Canadia. it's Canada. you should definately know that.
and secondly, of course they would be uptight! they aren't a "state"!!! they're an entirely seperate country! the 2nd biggest country in the world, actually. the usa doesn't own any bit of Canada.
plus, even if it WAS a state (which it's not), it would technically be called the 54th, because when you add in territories (which i believe is what you're doing), you would need to add Puerto Rico, Guam and the District of Columbia.

OK... look at the benefits of living in Canada: free healthcare, very few natural disasters of extreme magnitude, greatest fresh water resources in the world, years of oil, and the fact that you don't need to have the fear that everyone next to you is carrying a gun. What Canadian would not want to protect these things?

Such a reaction is called "nationalism." Canadians are proud of their country, and rightfully so. Therefore they bristle at even being considered a part of the U.S. just as we would at being considered part of Canada. It's bad enough that we're rapidly becoming a Mexican colony.

.second there are only 50 states,Canadians have been brainwashed into thinking there country is so great and america is so bad that they fear being americanized .Personally i think it would be agreat idea.eh
