Does anyone besides me think that this is strange?

I mean go to the grocery store, go to the drugstore, mail a letter, drive to a friend's house, any where. I don't want to go out to party or anything like that. I just mean even to walk the dogs in day light.

I also don't want to go out alone at night. I mean just normal stuff during the day. If I walk out the door, he follows even if it is to look at the lawn. It is driving me nuts.

I am not sure how long this has been happening, but he might be going through anxiety or he could be just paranoid. Especially at night, he just cares for your safety. Next time he asks you where you are going, invite him to go with you so he doesn't have to worry. Plus, it is a good time to be alone with him.

No not strange, he appears to love you & want to protect you, it might get on your nerves, but take it as a compliment from him. If you want to go shopping, tell him & if he wants to tag along let him tag along, do what you want anyway. I did this to my husband a few times & it is kind of funny to see a man trying to hide in the lingerie department LOL. He would say, "come on, let's go, I hate being in this department". I told him to go on, find a bench I would be out in a bit. It works, we still go places together, but I have my freedom, he sets down, or goes his own way in a store when we are done, we call each other to meet back up.

now thats scary. my husband is the exact same ...but... only when i go at night, go out to dinner , go friends house, go to my parents house. he'll go everywhere with my if he could but he works full time. so he can only go so much. but stuff like grocery and simple stuff i do it myself and he never says anything. i mean, does your husband does it in a kind of gentle way or like this really creepy or aggressive way like he owns you. but either way, it is quite bad. should ask him why he does it n why doesnt he let you. he doesnt trust u or something? or scared something will happen to you if hes not there? there are heaps of things you need to ask. you need to know. does he do this bcoz he has to or does he want to do it bcoz he just wants to be with you all the time??? ask him straight out. to tell you the truth, it is pretty creepy.

I would so no if its late at night. But doing regular errands through out the day yes that is very strange. Your husband is a control freak. I can't stand people like that. They make my @$$ ache.

Not at all, it isn't strange to me. My husband likes to drive and he's afraid of what could happen to me. We've both read in the newspapers about women who are carjacked, raped, killed, chopped into little pieces and buried somewhere in a field or dumped in the stream, happens more than any of us would like to know.

So no, I don't mind the company at all, I know he's just being protective of me, he says I never swivel my head. :))

get a can of pepper spray to carry with you and then when he goes into the bathroom take off and show him that your fine when you return. show him your protection and tell him that you are not a caged animal and that you can be let out alone.

He is very insecure. On the flip side, it is good because this way, he has no chance of cheating on you either. Wherever he goes, you go too.

The only thing i see as strange is your desire or need to go out alone.

I would listen to him!!! Especially when it starts getting dark. Rape, sexual harassment, etc. common in this day and age!
