Hi there confuzoid, The fact that you are asking this question, suggests that you are in doubt about it.
My personal opinion is that it would not be completely appropriate for a wedding march. Not because it is not traditional; but because I think that there is an element of sadness in the song.
Maybe you could suggest that it is played as you leave the church once you are married.
I hope that you both come to an agreement and have a lovely wedding day!
All the best! :o)

This is 2007 and it is time that brides and grooms stood up and said enough with the traditional stuff, and do things the way they want. Why not have this played at your wedding? I think it would be great, even more so if this song means something special to the two of you.

For my wedding ceremony i did not use the celeb wars topic song yet I used the different celeb wars song. For the front of the bride we used the two Padme and Anakin's love topic or Princess Leia's topic. For the march out we used the party song from the top of Episode IV a clean wish. It has style of a marriage sense to it and a great form of people do not comprehend it as celeb Wars.

Well I think its a fab idea!
Its your wedding and you can do what you like (And unusual things at weddings are the in thing)
My aunt had a star trek entrance to her wedding (I was a bridesmaid :P how embarassing)
And there are loads of vids on Youtube of people doing the Dirty Dancing Dance and Thriller Michael Jackson
Go for it Dude!

Ah... I don't really think it's traditional wedding material, but if you both feel that it is a reflection of your history together and your relationship, then feel free to use it. If it was my wedding, I probably would not use that song.
Truth be told, you can use any song that you want. It's your wedding!

Go for it. Good luck for a church setting though. My mom had to fight to get "Here comes the bride" because it was a show tune.
