People who are antagonists are those who do not get along well with others, so an antagonistic relationship is one where the parties involved do not like each other very well or are fighting all the time.

Does it mean that antagonistic people are those who do not agree with the majority of other people on controversial topics, such as religion versus atheism? Is an Atheist antagonistic because he/she does not believe in a god and is not afraid to voice his/her belief, wears atheist clothing or displays an Atheist bumper sticker? Then would Christians also be considered antagonistic if they wear their Christian jewelry and clothes, display religious artifacts/signs/bumper stickers, etc., and talk about their belief in God/Jesus, and say, "God bless you" or "Have a blessed day" to everybody they meet, assuming they believe the same as they do? Food for thought.
