so we just saw the invisible water effect on youtube and we want to do it but we do not know which gas to use. what gas do we use and what other materials do we need. For one last thing can you please give us the procedure in which to perform this experiment?

Sulfur hexafluoride is about 5 times denser than air. This is the key to the video you watched.

It is not really a gas to play with.

As the video clearly states, it is a very dense gas - sulfur hexafluoride. It is transparent, but significantly more dense than air, so some objects can float in it.
