MOST definitely!!! It's hard for me to put my feelings into words sometimes and I find that songs do it better for me.
I find the best songs for that in the country genre. But I like all types of music.

Yes I definitely do. Members of my family know by what songs I am playing if they should give me some space. There is nothing like thinking I am mad about something I want to listen to some loud rock music to get me in a better mood. Sometimes when bad things happen I want to listen to all my songs about life, death, love, forgiveness and all those about how lucky I am just to be here.I don't have a genre it is about the words of the song or the music and every once in awhile a artist will get both right.

For me it's more about specific songs than any particular genre. I enjoy many different types of music from Big Band to Western, Classical to Zydeco, and many shades in between. But if I were to be defined by a solitary genre it would have to be Rock.

Oh yes, definitely, just recently
I really started listening more to lyrics,
it use to be about sound,
now it's lyrics and they're totally describing me.
Well no exactly me, but things I do,
or things I like.
I just found a song that is great for a book
I just read, Eclipse, man it's great.
Yea, really I just never noticed until recently
how well music can describe you.

Yeah but NOT in every case because I do listen to sad loves sings but that doesnt mean I'm a sad person which Im not

hmm...well i listen to mostly classic rock. I guess when Steve Miller sings, "Jungle love it's driving me crazy" could apply to me.
Ha but I love finding songs that the lyrics speak to me. John Lennon's lyrics do that for me a lot

I listen to mainly Classic Rock, Jazz, Oldies, Country, and R'n'B.

I don't think it reflects your gender! But i think it really tells a lot about you and your personality and life style. I once was a hard rock fan. Now I'm a country fan! But i found that most country songs are depressing! But i still like it!
