Minor in English or Technical/Professional Writing. Could also minor in Business Marketing and take some writing classes. You've got the science, now give them the communication. You will have to write an entrance essay, resume, and will probably be doing some blogging or web writing sometime in your professional career. Round out with your minor.

And think: what if you want to do something different? Pharmacists burn out a lot. Maybe you will want to be a professor, or do pharmaceutical sales. Or research with a Pharma company. Who knows.

Pick the minor that gives you the most options! I think any professional should have some mastery with the pen.

Congrats on choosing pharmacy. It is a great profession!

If you want to minor in something that will help you in pharmacy school, the minor would probably be COMMUNICATIONS.

As a pharmacist, communications is very important. I remember when I interviewed at pharmacy school, I stressed a lot on my public speaking skills. They liked it and I got accepted. This wasn't the only reason, I have other factors going for me.

Good Luck Little One!

each and every training would have its very own acadmemic coverage on what a scholars are to do with regards to majors and minors. you will desire to get a replica of your colleges Catalog and browse it because of the reality that what's usually actual at one training won't nec be actual at a better. For representation: my training required all scholars to have one needed and 2 minors OR a double needed and one minor. Others have reported distinctive thoroughly obtainable plausible alternatives. So having a double needed did not nec mean you took time beyond regulation to graduate, in spite of the undeniable fact that it somewhat would based on the training coverage. maximum bachelor degree techniques are one hundred twenty hours. something extra effective than this and additionally you could prob be there extra effective than 4 years. If I were you, with those majors, I woud basically choose one needed. that's now not like its going to contain you from any somewhat lifestyles jobs available contained accessible and additionally you would be extra effective off graduating with the least quantity of student debt as obtainable.

At my university, after all the required prepharm chemistry courses, you would only be missing one course for the minor. Minors are really not that important in terms of getting in. The same cannot be said about that grade in organic chemistry.
