No your Betta isn't angry. Some Betta's will change colors as they grow and red is a dominate color in most Betta's.

When they want to fight or breed their body turn red or darker and other don't.
For example: If you put a mirror where he can see himself, he is gong to get angry and ready to fight because he think that his reflection in the mirror is another fish.

it is not angry different Betta foods will change the color of Betta fish look up Betta fish online and you find out every thing you need to know about Betta fish. you should do this you will find out all kinds of facts and how to care for them. hay did you know??? that Betta came from chines rice Fields and 2 male Betta fish will fight that is why it is known as the chines fighting fish

he was bored and lonely and lost all his color. now he is a lot happier and wants to find a hot betta babe so hes got his colors on. he will settle for you as long as you give him pellets though.

That sounds like ammonia poisening to me
do frequent waterchanges if you keep him in a bowl, like 25% daily with a gravel siphon
if you have him in a tank, 25% weekly
For right now you need to do a 50% waterchange to get your ammonia down, the reading is suppose to be at 0
