Your question assumes that there are ONLY 3 things that make me smile. The first to spring to mind, though, is Saturday Morning Beatles -- two hours' worth (minus commercials), every week. That never fails to make me smile. Seeing some of my favorite flowers bloom. Eating salad made with fresh herbs from my garden.

Every answerer ahead of me is correct except that they fail to mention the significance of, or the meaning of, the depiction.
Very simply, it is a depiction of what many people will do in social settings when they are aware of things but are too embarrassed or fearful of passing on what they know to someone who doesn't.
