There is a myth about an Emporer whom a con man told his clothes were of the finest quality and only wise persons could see these, and finally after hours, weeks months of making these devine clothes, the confidence trick was in place. The Emporer was to parade through town, for all the wise folk to ooo and aaahh at his supremely incredible clothes, so he donned these magical clothes, got conned, and the crowd, knowledgable oooed and aaahhed on queue, then this little kid in the crowd, bleets out, "MUMMY THE EMPORER HAS GOT NO CLOTHES ON!!!!" Yea, well it was the kids job to ask questions, really dumb ones, but, at that point, the whole crowd said, in unision "YEA, THE EMPORER HAS BEEN CONNED, LETS GET THE GARMENT MANUFACTURER!!!" Bye then he had taken the money and ran, but the Emporer was left feeling? Naked, but clothed?

Does the Emporer parrable answer you question? It does not matter what you wear, but how you wear it, clean, tidy, with dignity and pride, butt naked or embarrassed the choice is yours!

You are only naked to the world if the world views you that way, but if you worry about what other people wear, who cares what fashion you follow as a trend setter, just strip off and skinny dip when everyone else is, who is going to arrest you? Naked cops in a nudest colony?

Try getting those xray specs they sold when we were kids, guaranteed to see through clothes, say, you know that xray maching scanning everyone with cameras coming into Singapore for guns, it depends whether you are behind or in front of the camera!!! I love being a photographer, who cares about the rest of the world, just shake your grove thang often and regular!

Going naked into the world, though literally possible, is figuratively impractical for everyone but babies. We are always equipped with the clothing of our upbringing, our perceptions always filtered through the smoked glass of our experience and unconscious prejudices.
It may help us to perceive things the way they truly are if we try to strip away our own preconceived notions, but without destroying our own personalities utterly, it's impossible to accomplish complete mental nudity.
Furthermore, that would leave us unequipped to deal with or judge what we would find. Our parents educate us, and clothe us in tradition and ideas for a good reason. Certainly, it takes a moment to see past our own "clothes", especially if they are fastened on tight, and many people want to make you wear their black and white uniforms unquestioningly, and pretend there are no shades of gray. But if our desire pushes us to understand the world as it truly is, then our "clothing" becomes tools to use in the effort, a frame of reference. The world may not then be naked, but the true color of it's costumes are revealed. So then, by discovering bared truth, and weighing the costumes it offers us against our own, we may choose whether to doff the sox of repression or the bowler hat of ignorance in favor of the running shorts of enlightenment, or the burka of tolerance.

In the world of art "naked" implies something pornographic, vulgar, and pedestrian. "Nude", however, implies something pure and beautiful.

I dunno about you but I was born nude.

Some parts of the world are nude to me while some parts naked and others covered (although the covered parts tend to be hiding more naked bits).
