About $0.50.

If it has full steps in the reverse it may be worth more.

The 1963 Jefferson nickel is unlisted in buy guide, but is listed at $1.50 in MS-63 in trends guide. Trends values are about what a coin sells for. They are usually a little on the high side and dealers try to sell under the listed prices. With a mintage of 175,776,000 the coin is far from scarce. The coin would be worth more, if it graded MS-65 and had full steps. Hope this helps you.

A 1963 nickel has no significant value. Dimes/Quarters, half-dollars minted before 1964 are worth more than face value because they are 90% silver. Unless it is a proof/mint coin (came in a set and is basically untouched by human hands) the coin is only worth face value.
