Please Help me to answer these questions!!.. THX a LOTTTT!!

A lift of mass 480kg to carry a max. load of 3000N. Calculate the tension in the lift cable at maximum load when,
a. the lift moves downward at steady speed
b. the lift moves downward, accelerating at .15m/s^2
c.The lift moves upward, accelerating at 1.5m/s^2

I'm assuming that in addition to the 480kg lift it can carry a mass of 3,000n/9.81 m/s=305.8 kg
let m1=480kg, m2=305.8kg

a) when it moves downward at steady speed the total acceleration is 0 however the force is still 1 g.

F=(m1+m2)g

b) when it moves downward accelerating 0.15m/s^2 the force is
F=(m1+m2) (g - .15m/s^2)


c) when it moves upward accelerating .15m/s^2 the force is g + .15m/s^2
F=(m1+m2) (g + .15m/s^2)

where g is 9.81m/s^2
