There are usually a few things that will make you do that.
First, as fod is digested it adds to the sugars in your blood stream, making you drowsy.
Also, if the food is high in L-Tryptophan, that protien is a natural sleep incucing substance and will make you drowsy.
Additionally, food makes us feel more comfortable. We feel calmer when we are well fed and that comfort can allow our busy minds torelax enough to make us feel like sleeping.

your body says it is time to digest, not to use your limbs but your stomach. Also, as someone else said, it could be sugar fluctuations. A big meal will generally make you sleepy, and foods with tryptophan, like milk, will generally make you sleepy.

could be blood sugars up to high,,,
try eating less,
not a lot of carbs or proteins
or lighter meals more often

adats because the blood n ur ead runs down to ur stomach to aid in the digestion of what u eaten. and f u have less blood supply in ur head...that makes u sleppy.
