Lou Holtz is perhaps the most pathetic HOMER of all time. I do like the guy however even though he is such a terrible HOMER. I like the way his lisp makes him sound like Sylvester the putty tat! However. . . can he seriously think Notre Dame will win ten games this year? After all. . he did think they would beat Michigan and LSU last year.

I have all of the respect in the world for Lou Holtz, but if he thinks Notre Dame will win 10 games after this deplorable performance, he's clearly smoking some very high quality weed.
Notre Dame will be very fortunate to qualify for a bowl this year, and even if they do I don't see them ending their long bowl winless streak.

I love Lou Holtz. I don't know what his current predictions for Notre Dame are but after the Michigan upset by App St., Lou claimed he predicted it would be a close game. I think everyone and they Grandmother picked Michgan to blow out App St.

To the nutcases on here that aren't aware, Lou Holtz was the head coach at ND for 11 years...and ND will get this straightened out, or Weis will be out...ND will win the rest of the games they are supposed to, and likely lose to Michigan and USC...That means 8 wins...8-3...

Lou Holtz still thinks the Irish can go undefeated. This is not, however, because he is a huge homer (he is but it doesn't matter), it's because he is clinically insane and still probably thinks it is the 1980s.

For ND to win 7 is a good year for them I like Lou though but could you imagine hearing a pepp talk from him?lol! how many players that have do you think laughed there @ss off. He is a good guy so I don't really like rippin on him.
