So yeah I got two checks now. Both though different amount. So am asking. Should I keep the check. Or do the right thing and tell them they made a mistake. I am in Financial problem. Would they notice? Please let me know what would you do. THANKS

Humm you want to knowingly screw over your place of employment..

I may have to think about this one for a few and get back to you.

Tell them right away. First of all, of course, that's the honest thing to do. Secondly, since they are different amounts, something is wrong unless the check is for a different time period than the direct deposit. Third, they'll catch it at some point, and if you try to keep it and don't tell them, you will REALLY look bad and will have proved to your employer that they can't trust you, never a good situation to be in with your employer.

well if I were you I'd not spend the money because eventually your employeers finance department will recognize the error and garnish your wages......so then you'll be expecting a paycheck and get NADA! so as long as you take the check back in (and don't cash it) you'll be alright.

Yes they will notice and you'll be hurting in the future if you cash the check (like I said, they will garnish your wages for the amount of the check).

Yes, they will notice.

Deposit the check to keep it safe, but don't spend the money. Your employer will find the discrepancy and take it out of your next check after the discrepancy is found.

DON'T SPEND THE MONEY!

Do the right thing and give them back the check.
They will eventually find out when they see their own bank statement and they will then demand their money back and may let you go for being dishonest.

Yes they will notice. You would really score some brownie points if you brought it to their attention before they find it.

If you don't do the right thing you risk losing your job. Is it really worth it?

You should tell them they made a mistake and see how big
