im 12. i just got my period. the blood smells but its not very strong. is this normal. help?

It's normal. I seem to remember it was worse when I was 12 than it is now. To reduce the smell, change your pads (or tampons, smell is worse with pads) regularly and bath a lot. It'll be fine.

ok yes it is very normal
the blood itself actually does not smell it is when the blood mixes with swet and bacteria on the body that it begins to smell
make sure to wash your self good at leat 2 times a day , you can reduce the smell like that
remember everyone is different so your smell can be stronger or weaker then another persons smell
and dont be alarmed there is nothing wrong with you, you are safe and healthey

Yes it is normal. Your period will have a distinct smell, however it should not be strong. That is why they sell deodorant feminine products...to help with the odor, however I find the smell of those more offensive.

very normal am 11 got my period at 11! and it's normal it does smell bur if u take shower during ur period it make it smell better good luck !

Very normal. Don't worry. It is part of growing up. Your mom, aunt, sister, grandmother, friend from church, etc. is who you need right now. You are beautiful and God's creature.

of course its normal just make sure your changing your pad/tampon when needed because that may cause the smell if it holds to much

if you haven't told your mom yet, DO THAT lol. i'm 13 i just got my first one if april, and i never got it after that. well i DID but it was barely anything, now it's gone. hmm idk about the smell though. the first few periods tend to be irregular.
