I put a stupid sticker on my truck and want to get it off the paint? How do I do it without damaging the paint or truck...it is not located on the bumper.

Peel it off if it will come easily - if it won't, use a butter knife to gently lift the sticker part.

Then, use Goo Gone to remove what you weren't able to get by taking it off so carefully. The sticker itself really shouldn't hurt your paint if it's a professional job.

A hair dryer works best and will not get so hot it would damage the paint. Safe and easy. You can use so WD-40 to remove the adhesive stuff once you get the sticker off.

Good Luck!

There's a product called Goo Gone (you can buy it at Walmart or any other store like this and also at hardware stores.)
Saturate stickers with it, wait several minutes and take them off.
Whatever residue is left can be taken off with the same product. It works really well.

Keep soaking the sticker with warm water and car wash fluid, and use your fingernail (or an old credit card) to gently remove as much of the material as possible. You may need to use a little WD40 or gasoline to remove the glue remnants.

try spraying it with wd40 let it sit and then slowly get it off or maybe you could blow dry it with a blow dryer to melt the glue and it might come off that way
