I personally think the whole wearing a bra to bed and having greater chances of getting breast cancer is a myth. But I know for certain that if you wear a bra to bed make sure to wash it regularly especially if you sweat in your sleep. The sweat buildup can cause irritation between and underneith the breasts. But as far as affecting the growth of your chest.. i have never heard of that or did not find anything on it. But I did find a website about breastcancer and wearing your bra to bed (even though I dont believe it) but u can have a look. Goodluck

I used to wear bras to bed when I first got a chest. I am now a DDD, so no, it is in fact a myth that wearing them to bed is going to affect their growth.

Sleeping bras and sports bras are the best. They do not affect growth and actually give support to ladies with any bust size. It helps keep them perky. No one wants sagging boobs. They are especially recommended for ladies who have have breast implants.

It won't affect the growth, but it can be comfortable if you are large chested. Sports bras especially!

Probably doesn't restrict the growth of your chest... I think it would definitely restrict your ability to sleep comfortably.

Personally, I think it restricts the flow of blood to my brain. That's why I call the fool thing a tourniquet.

i heard a doctor on tv saying that women who do not want their boobs touching the floor when they are 50 should wear a bra to bed. not a wire bra but a sleep one. it keeps them from sagging. i don't know if it affects the growth but it def keeps them away from your belly button.

There is no medical nor logical reason to wear a bra to bed.

I never have and neither has my 82-year-old mother.
