it depends on how far along you are and if you have had any previous problems.... you are usually told to wait untill they are 5-7 minutes apart and your whole tummy gets tight during them.... if it is just cramps then it is probably braxton hicks... if you are less than 37 weeks go asap to make sure your baby is ok and if over call ur dr to see what their policy for keeping you at the hospital is

Anytime you are having cramps during pregnancy you should have it checked out. Go to the ER and make sure you are okay.

How far along are you? Are you near your due date? If yes, definitely go then. If not, call your doc/midwife right away and ask for their opinion. They know your history. Go with your instinct though.

If you are pregnant and you are having cramps call your ob/gyn immediately. If she/he isn't available, go to the emergency room.

I would go to the ER, just to make sure that everything is okay!!! You can never be to careful when it comes to your little one!!!

looked at your other questions and it appears that you are 38 weeks pregnant so i would say when they are 5 mins apart.

almost everybody (girls) has cramps during a period. if it is really that bad, maybe u should c a docter.
