With roughly 25 games to go, the wild card chase is still neck and neck. I think its pretty much a given that Boston, Cleveland and LA will all keep their division leads. (Unless they collapse, which is highly unlikely)
Detroit has finally started to get the results from Bondo and Verlander, and Rogers is coming back at just the right time.
Seattle has lost 8 in a row and still is only 2 games behind the yanks. I can't see their loosing streak go much longer before they are back to form.
And then we have the Yanks. Love em or hate em, you gotta admit they are a solid offensive team. The numbers just don't lie. But like Detroit their starting pitching could be a major thorn in their side.
Three teams all with a very good chance, Man I love September :)

As a yankee fan, im about 80% positive that the yankees will make the playoffs, lets discuss this after the SEA @ NYY series, and lets talk about the AL east after the NYY @ BOS series, theres a good chunk of baseball left, and you better believe that the Yankees will be there in october, one way or another, you Yankee haters know it, and i bet it irritates ya. Well Laters.
PS : eww playoff baseball on TBS and TNT? this isn't basketball, keeep it on FOX and ESPN.

Yes and I predict a rerun of the 2005 ALDS, with the Angels beating the Yankees for the third straight time that they have met in the ALDS, setting up a Red Sox--Angels ALCS.

Not until the magic numbers say so.
But why care what others think?* You've got the unshakable confidence in the Bombers, start laying down long money on them! Make enough to buy season tickets for the last year in the old yard, yes?
*I know the answer to this, but it's not important here.

No because Yankee haters are bitter! They will always be bitter. They will never admit the obvious- that the Yankees are a professional team that never gives up.
