I had 2 when I was younger.
Good Points: Hypo-Allergenic
Bad Points: They bark bark bark & bark!

They are supposed to be one of the smartest dogs. From my experience I think maybe the standard size ones are pretty smart. As far as the miniature poodle I'm not so sure as far as being smart goes but most have sweet temperaments.

poodles are weird enough before people start to chop their hair
they remind me of 40 year old french women who cuddle everything too much
the only person who should have a poodle is Bush - but Blair retired

Their not my type of dogs. I personally don't think they're all that cute, but they're very obedient.
