should i get headphones or earphones????

earphones-u can listen to one earphone so u can hear someone talking to you and its more unnoticable

headphones-better sound and i never had headphones on my mp3 player but my friend said dat it sound much better

There are in-ear earphones that sound as good as headphones. Just look at Shure E3c or E4c - high fidelity earphones with amazing sound and they block out external noises very well. They are very compact, and can be taken anywhere in a pocket or purse. For cheaper ones, you might try the JVC Marshmallow earphones that you can pick up from Wal-Mart.

Ear "buds" are the earphones that just sit in your ear. These tend to be low fidelity and you get outside noise and poor music quality compared to in-ear earphones or headphones.

Headphones are larger and bulkier, are worn outside the ear, and do not block out sound as well as good earphones. But some prefer this to the earphones that extend into the ear canal, like the Shure earphones. Headphones can have high quality audio at an affordable price.

Ultimately it's your choice, but I'd try the in-ear isolation earphones if you want to try a unique experience.

Hi Earphones can cause problems with the ears particularly if you have a build up of wax .Also the ear canal is blocked from receiving air properly. They have to be hygienically clean before reinserting them. And if you have an ear infection you will find it will take longer to clear up if you are using the phones.Head phones have become smaller and lighter and more comfortable and have the best sound so i would definitely use headphones if only for the fact they are more hygienic.I am surprised that no one else so far has thought about the hygienic issue with earphones.

With earphone, you feel more comfortable even when you're walking outside and yeah, it's quiet unnoticable so i prefer to have earphones even if it has less sound quality than the headphones.

if you really care about sound then you could get some very good earphones (such as ones from the very high end shure brand)
in my opinion behind the ear headphones are the best
my personal favorite are the logitech free pulse headphones
they are wireless behind the ear (or street style as some people call them) look them up they look sweet
i hate normal headphones because they look ridiculous

I think earphone is better if you don't want to mess up your hair. I think earphone sound is good too. Good luck with your decision.

headphones are really old-fashioned so i'd go with the earphones
