Do you have an online account with brokerage, mutual fund house, bank or credit union? Check there. I know my brokerage Scottrade is teaming up with McAfee and the brokerage is offering the anti-virus for free.

Why would they do so? Because it will help prevent unauthorized accessed to their client's accounts, and fraud that they would have to re-imburse.

I strongly recomend avg the free one if you have a vista is really good.
