Enough to pay your expenses for materials and time, and still have some cash left over to put in the bank.

depends on how long it takes you to clean it...and depends on your area...here in FL it's $20 or more an hour with a 3-hour minimum. It's always better to state more hours than you need. The first time is the hardest so if you want to set up a contract and say you're go over it quickly the first time and then when you come there again you'll work on specific areas more.....but that you'll charge a certain fee and only stay so many hours per time, and charge a base fee. Use a contract. Have a start date, and an ending date as agreed to by both parties.

As you know, if you've been doing this a long time, your expenses are minimal...and that it usually takes a lot of elbow greese (hard work but few materials) to get a place clean.

In Houston, its usually about $60-$70 in a 2900 Sq Ft home. So, around $50 for 3 hours, should be good for 2200 Sq ft.

Hello 'amarro' :
Don't worry about the size of the house. If you are an honest, good worker , then , just charge an hourly rate that covers your expenses and , also, reflects a respectable rate for your honest efforts .

It depends on how messy the house is the 1st time you see it, and if they have pets or kids. Basically take a look at it & figure out how long it is going to take you to clean it (1st time will take the longest). $20-25 per hour is pretty normal

For the first time, set an hourly rate....say $10 to $15 per hour and then you can set a flat rate next time.
