Extinction is a completely natural occurrence..however humans have sped up this process to an alarming rate. We have no idea what the effects of wiping all these creatures off the earth in such a short time period will do. There are also only so many species of predatory animals which are very important to keep other animal populations in check. We have not discovered new predator species in quite some time as they are large, and live in areas that are easily explored by humans. Once we wipe them out ..there is nothing to replace them. We are most likely destroying species in the rain forests that have yet to be discovered..we will wipe them out before we even have a chance to. New species are not appearing on earth like you make it sound..every species is already here..some just have not been discovered by humans yet. We may even be killing off animals and plants that have medicinal uses and can cure things such as cancer, AIDS, etc. Also, if you do believe in God and the bible...I see nowhere that it states we will leave the planet. I do see that it states we are supposed to be caretakers or good stewards of the planet earth, not destroyers of it.

It's true that every now and then there is a massive extinction of many species, followed later by the development of many new species. Of course humans will try to control this process if they can; haven't they always, ever since they started planting crops and breeding livestock? Sometimes they've produced unintended consequences too.
But I think that nowadays a lot of people think they can control Mother Nature a lot more than they really can. I became aware of this when Mount Saint Helens erupted in Washington, a 24 megaton event. People couldn't compete with that.
And now suddenly people think they can control the climate of the earth! What hubris!
I'm not saying that we have no effect; we do. But how about a little humility to go along with it. Nature is bigger than we are, and maybe even more interesting.

You have a somewhat distorted view of life. Every species is important, every life is important. These new species that are found are those already living, they just have not been identified. They did not just spontaneously emerge.
God and or Jesus did not create life on Earth. This is obvious. We have not witness any new life forms. No new humanoids just showed up.
Religion is for your spirit. Religion is not to be used to explain biology. The Bible is not a text book or reference source. By making a statement such as yours, you make all religious people look foolish.

Simply put, humans contribution to the extinction of many species upsets the ecological balance and goes against the pace nature intended it to be. the imbalance cascades resulting further extinction of other plant and animal species depending on it.

Well the hundreds of species that are discovered every year are mostly insects. Not the big creatures of the savannah or the deep.
And for your second one, not all people believe in the Christian view.

Because then you lose a beautiful and unique creature forever. They are invaluable to science and records and such. It is human nature to want o know everything about your world, and not absolutely everything can ever be known about any creature. But the more time you have with it, the more you can learn.

why are people worried about animal species going extinct? because if all animals die out we will miss pork chop, burgers, hot dogs, etc. and our children's children will not have the chance to play or even see a dog, cat, bird etc. imagine the horror!

Well... think about bees, without bees we wouldn't have nearly a fraction of the amounts of flowering plats we have now which means that we would lose a very large number of fruits.
