Probably won't happen. I'm not sure if anyone would go to Iran to see the matches, even for the WC. Most teams probably would boycott the WC due to security issues and the like. Also, you probably wouldn't get the corporate sponsors, ticket sales would be sluggish at best, and the infrastructure would have to be upgraded. I think Iran has too many other problems to worry about than hosting a WC.
For the second part of the question, probably not any time soon for the top teams. They probably play matches against Asian teams such as those mentioned for the same reason S American teams play friendly's against other S American teams, US plays Mexico, and European teams play each other more often. And once again, goes to the way of money. You probably wouldn't have the turnout or be able to ask outrageous ticket prices for an England/Iran match like you would even an England/Ireland or Scotland, etc, etc.
Personally, I'm waiting for Phnom Phen!!!!!!

Couple issues 1st. Mexico is extra corrupt particularly while their very own president offered the votes to win the election 2d. Why mexico? i think of it would be extra constructive in any us of a that hasnt hosted it two times alredy third. Brazil undesirable? I dont think of so in any different case they wouldnt have gained the bid for 2014 4th. What makes you think of mexico will win wc at homestead in the event that they cant even beat jamaica at homestead for the period of a qualifier? And final. while did mexico win of a bathroom (with the exception of young little ones communities) im rather particular which would be under no circumstances. No offense basically cuz you thumb me down doesnt mean im incorrect its all actual

when shah iran ruled iran again.maybe1000 years after.they will play against brazil and england during the world cup.they played against japan korea bahrain and iraq coz they're from asia and that was during asian cup.i repeat ASIAN CUP not world cup.
