my dad...........he raised 5 kids alone and worked 13 hour days laying carpet...which is hard work by itself. He had to do all of the housework like cooking and doing laundry. Which as you know a lot of dad's didn't do during the 1970's.

Plus he is the one who I can count on for any help I may ever need.

My hero is the man who started the Grameen Bank. He was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. he started a bank that gives out micro loans to the poor in places like Bangladesh. He says it is a fallacy that the poor won't pay back a loan, he says a woman with children in a 3rd world country can scrap more our of a few dollars than anyone in the world. When they pay the loans back, they get bigger ones , some to start their own businesses. He is my hero

My other hero was my Dad who was so flawed due to alcoholism. it beat him, but not without a fight, he was able to rebound for years before he lost the final round and still in my heart is one of the best humans I have ever known

My hero is my sister, Lee. She has been through so much and yet she has remained strong, always the voice of reason. Her oldest daughter was killed in a car accident, her son has a terminal illness, but she keeps going without complaint. Her husband had a massive coronary and died while they were hiking. He was the love of her life, gone so quickly. I have relied on my sister to help me through some deep depressions, and she has never let me down. I love her with all my heart and she is definitely my hero!

Jesus!

He was born in a little town call Bethlehem,he traveled alot with his family then with his best friends.
He died when he was 32 that I might live forever, either for him or against him.I choose to live for him and someday go home.
For he said I go to my father house where there is many mansions if it was not true then I wouldn't have told you so.
By the way he wasn't just talking to his friends but to everyone who is brave enough to follow him and long for home.
For those who chose not to believe or follow him he has reserved a pit and in this pit is others just like them.Murderer, rapist, sadist,ch ild molester ect...you get the ideal.
This is my one true Hero Jesus.Have a wonderful day! :^)

My Dad. He lived with a handicap most of his life, and never complained. He had a successful career in the aerospace industry as a technical writer. Was told as youth he would never be a father, but was.
He taught me how to be a good human being, and how to find the joy in life.

( we are 8 years apart) And he always told me to follow my dreams no matter how ridiculous they might be, and now he is in the band called Therefore I am, and is gonna probably get a record deal pretty soon. I look up to him a lot. oh by the way hes name is Travis.

Tonight, my hero is DAMN HAPPY. I don't think anyone can make me laugh nearly as hard as I do when I read his questions and answers. He needs to take his act on the road, seriously! : )
