A bit a bragging much?

First of all, that's enough clothes for you to wear for maybe the next four or five years. But of course, I'm assuming you're one of those girls that HAVE to have all the new stuff from these stores every time something new comes out. Do the math kid.... You can only wear one top and one bottom a day. Sometimes two tops if you layer, and sometimes just one thing if you wear a dress. That's too many. No one's really going to care if you wear the same thing twice...

And oh yeah, middle schoolers don't really watch your clothing choices closely.

As of now you are a simply wasting a colossal amount of [your parents'] money (although you are boosting the economy) because you're just going to outgrow them. Or ruin them.

I hope your school suddenly decides to adopt a strict dress code... Or better yet, a school uniform.

Donate your freaking clothes. And in the real world... Or even just in high school, no one admires you for how much clothing you have. If they care at all about what you're wearing they care about style, not quantity and brand name. They admire the people who have tops from thrift shops and the people who cut up and make their own clothes.

Why don't you spend your time learning grammar instead of shopping... And you'd know that the proper way to phrase your question would be "Is this enough clothing..." or "Are these enough clothes ...."

Umm if you wanna buy that much you might as well get designer. Lily Pulitzer? That screams I'm a 5 year old brat at a resort or I'm an old lady....

And 18 henleys?!? Thats gross... I mean theres only like 10 colors. Thats stupid, and why would you want 15 hoodies? Thats just stupid......

And you have like 2,000 dollars worth of sundresses? Somehow I don't believe you. And 1,500 dollarss worth of crappy ugly jeans....

I think you're a brat, and I think you're lying. Beside abercrombie and hollister are like the same. You must just have repeats of the same clothes, thats stupid. I mean 18 henlys? Haha also $2000 worth of sweaters and hoodies. Learn some fashion. You're gonna grow out of these in a year.

Oh and by the way, I have more clothes then you and I don't brag or ask stupid questions....

YES YOU HAVE ENOUGH

Holy crap.

Why are you asking this question?! You have so many freakin clothes!!! You have 145 clothes in total!

I don't even have half of that. I hope that you are very grateful for all the clothes you have, you know. Some people are less fortunate than you may be. I hope that you thank you parents for all the things you have, can you imagine how much money that they have spent on all your clothes that you have right now, and from the past?

You have way more than enough! My question is, how many pairs of pants, jeans, kaprees and sweat pants do you have?! Maybe try and donate a few clothes to the homless or something??

Are you trying to get attention? Or trying to brag? You realize that you are going to outgrow all of these clothes and eventually wreck them.

I so agree with lunatikky, we have this question answered right. I also agree with all the people who are answering like I have. Good job!

Holy, .. :O

Yes, I think that you have enough!

I count 38 summer tops, and 41 winter ones, plus 17 summer bottoms and 24 winter ones, not counting dresses.
I am 51 years old, have not changed sizes for several years, and don't own anything like that!
Please donate any clothes that are too big, too small, or just tired off - thrift shops will take everything but underwear and socks, swimsuits. There are lots ofgirls out there who will be thrilled to have your cast offs!
Maybe you could do a clothing drive at your school for a project for extra credit...
Also, it's better for the environment to re-cycle resources!

Holy guacamole thats enough clothing to never wear the same outfit. I have 7 shirts and 7 pairs of jeans to wear to school this year and I'm a senior. And she's only in 7th grade?

I honestly think it's overkill. Thats at least twice the size of the largest wardrobe I know, and she's bound to grow right out of it all.

But yes, I'm sure she won't have an excuse to say "I have nothing to wear"

omg you have a lot of cloths. maybe too many. WHO HAS 15 HOODIES FROM ABERCROMBIE when they cost $40-$60 EACH? are theese all NEW cloths or old too?? i think you need to be more considerate that your parents buy you all these cloths when some ppl have to shop at the salvation army. to me, i think that 10-15 shirts is a good amount for back to school. i mean , does ae even HAVE 18 henleys out?? btw hollister is kinda for older ppl n ur like 11 or 12... i think that you are just trying to show off. thats enough cloths for a 7th,8th,AND 9th grader!! this year, i bought 3 hoodies.not 15!!

2007-09-01 15:25:12 · answer #7 · answered by Anonymous · 8 0

That is WAY enough for a seventh grader.
Also: you have a lot of "preppy" clothes.

No offense, but you may end up looking like just another trend. Try wearing something original---don't just stick with the henley, jean, flip flop combos you seem to be favoring.

Don't be afraid to stand out!

American Eagle doesn't even MAKE 18 henleys, stupid.

If you actually knew ANYTHING about fashion, you'd know that.

And 15 hoodies from Abercrombie... I don't think so. Unless you're wearing some from like 3 years ago or something.

bottom line: stop lying.

Its probably too many! Why on earth would you need 18 henleys? You should really consider donating some of your clothes to charity.

Also, its "are these enough clothes".
