It really doesn't matter what size TV you get to play video games on it... as long as it's not too small.
A good size 24 inch Tv would do. Doesn't matter what brand, as long as it's a good one. A widescreen or flatscreen TV would also be good.
Just make sure you have enough room to play, because you need to stand at least 3 feet away from your TV in order to play certain Wii games like Wii Sports!
So save your money for the Wii if you can, instead of a TV, and good luck finding a Wii! :)

You will need a big tv. Probably bigger then 20". It is hard to play the wii on a very small screen. If you want an HDTV, make sure you buy HD component cables for your wii.

Mid size range, 35-50 inch considering it's your living room. But for Wii specifically, it doesn't matter. I play Wii on my 19" LCD in my dorm just fine. But you should get an HD ready TV.

You will need a 1080P and I think you will be comfortable at 6" per 1' that you will be from the TV. So If you will be 7' from the TV, then a 42" TV will be best.

If you can even find a Wii, salute. Everytime I get to the store they are sold out/coming soon/don't know.
