I don't click on links but, as for racism? IT is live and well here. And, may I add it is not just always against the African/Americans. I am an elderly white woman and racism is here against the elderly race as we are labeled. I am NOT a racist and I will never condone such a thing in my dwelling or life.
We are all God's children under the sun and I would not be in God's Good Graces if I were to be a racist.

I believe that racism dose exist but just from watching this brief video It dose not tell me all of the facts of both sides there is a lot of missing information .I do not know for sure what took place all of the evidence isnt being presented. Besides racism I believe there is also discrimination If you are fat, ugly, birth defect, retarded, mental illness, short ,tall ,ect.... the list goes on and on and on.

One only needs to read some of the racist and bigoted comments on "Yahoo Answers" to know that racism still exist in America and around the world.
Ignorance, stupidity, bigotry, and hate are attributes that humankind has in abundance.
With such low levels of intelligence, it's a wonder that you humans have lasted this long as a species.
Pardon my misanthropic rant.

I have never been one to claim that there wasn't. There always will be. It is inevitable, unfortunately. I just watched this movie called "Crash"...which brings a lot of it into an everyday perspective. But even if we were all the same race there would still be distinguishing things about us that others would find to judge...this is what is going on in Kenya...so it's not just here...it's everywhere and always will be.

Yes, there is still racism...by all entities. The only way to get past it is to fight for rights for everyone (not an exclusive race), don't be oversensitive (everybody kind of sick of people pissing and moaning over little things), and take the higher road to the idiots (recognizing their stupidity gives them strength).
Overall, common sense is replacing lunacy. We need to look at commoness in the midst of diversity. Economics is the real dividing standard...but we have been led to believe it is skin color.

No there is still racism in America of course. You can't change the way people feel about skin color but it just sucks that there still is. But a lot of us have overcome racism :D

In america? give me a break! It'S in every continent on this globe. that's the way of the world. If it wasn't for racism we'd have to hate within our own race (which some of us do). If we got rid of alot of our race, we'd start hatin those that are too geographically close to us (wsoud). then after they were taken care of we'd start hatin relatives (wsoud). now all that left is you. what do you do now? So as much as it would be nice if racism didnt exist, it won't happen till.......

Just from the answers you've received to this question, some of them disgusting, it's obvious that racism is alive and well.
That being said, I believe that there is less bigotry, prejudice, and institutionalized racism than there was when I was growing up.

Oh, there certainly is racism in America. It's still simmering out there. But a lot of people don't feel too loving toward us WASPs either. An then there's sexism, too.

Of course, there IS racism in America and everywhere. Every color and creed of people including, white, black, red or green, has racism directed at them. I like to think and hope people are getting over being bigots. Unfortunately, I guess as the song says, people "teach their children well."
