Greetings! If Larry Craig wasn't a American flag waving Republican "Family Value gay basher", I would feel sorry for him. It was silly for a person of his stature to do what he did in a public bathroom, but people do go through crises and sometimes do stupid things, knowing how stupid it was when they did it. It does happen, and I dare say we have all have done some incredibly stupid things in one way or other.

Having said that, what makes this so much more revolting is that he used the "Family Values" as a club to beat his way into the Senate, which makes his crime worse because of his hypocricy.

Take care.

He's an oddball because he seems to have made a huge deal out of what is really a very minor offense.

But, maybe it wasn't just him -- I've heard that other Republicans were pretty harsh on him, so maybe he just resigned to get out of the line of fire from his own party.

If Craig is found to be guilty then he is a true example of what Dante's predicted punishment will be. The Hypocrite will be adorned with beautifully colored cloaks that reach from neck to ankle---but will be lined with LEAD. They are eternally weighted down by the falseness of their appearance. He is a true example of a Hypocrite and much more to the women he married.

The end of August is normally pretty quiet, politically speaking. He made it interesting. I think if this had come out last spring while congress was in the middle of debating the Iraq funding bill and the immigration bill I think it would have received less attention.

He is a shining example and a beacon to remember, and he points out the Hypocrisy, Lies, and Deciept of this generation of Republicans. This man is no oddball among the party of the color of Blood.

He is a perv or at best a closet gay. The worst thing I can think of is someone who lies and says he is someone you can trust. Honestly, we should vote out 98% of those on Congress, vote in a third party candidate for Pres. and do away with the IRS.

I am satisfied.
I realize it was a restroom but I now believe any sting operation should have audio/visual recording...If only showing what the police officer is seeing and hearing.

I have a sneaky suspicion that Sen. Craig isn't a fudge-packer. I bet when the dust clears it will be shown that he was set up by the liberals so as to teach those in power "play the game our way or you'll be forced out."

He is a very nasty, dirty, naughty bid boy. I thought he should be fired. He is suppose to set an example.
